Contrasting personalities prove to be mutually irresistible in Andrej Lupin’s movie "Simply Herself", which features gorgeous Swiss blonde Valery and Brit Sam Bourne. Sunny and free-spirited, Valery dances around their stylish, light-filled living room to an upbeat love song playing through her earbuds. Her long beachy waves tumble over a white cover-up, its high side split and wide mesh offering teasing glimpses of what is under it. Sam, meanwhile, is more reserved and content to lounge quietly in an easy chair. Valery is determined to catch his attention. An offer of a drink gets her nowhere, but she seems unfazed, fetching one for herself before dancing directly in front of him. Sam initially seems bemused by her uninhibited exuberance, but his resistance is good-natured, and Valery simply turns up the charm. Her increasingly mischievous performance eventually earns the smile she has been chasing, and the distance between them finally disappears. Their playful differences give way to an intimate encounter filled with energy and undeniable chemistry. Yet beneath the excitement lies something sweeter – their compatibility. Her spontaneity draws out his warmer side while his calmer nature provides the perfect counterpoint to hers. By the time their lively afternoon softens into a tender moment together, it is easy to see why these particular opposites do far more than just attract – they complete each other.
