Chanel Camryn is in her bedroom, all dressed up, as she greets her fans with a webcam performance. She's seductive, sweet, and full of youthful energy as she flirts with the guys from her camera. She reminds her viewers that her birthday is just one week away, and she's going to have a contest offering a date with her to one lucky winner! Her stepbrother (Max Fills) is in his bedroom on his phone watching her stream, and also hears her cheery voice coming through the wall. She enthusiastically interacts with her fans, who are constantly sending texts to her during the show, and she answers a question from a fan: "YES! I have a stepbrother. Yes, he's fucking hot! But he doesn't even notice me." She's so into interacting with the guys that she forgets Her brother is in the next room. She confesses and gushes about her crush as if the only people who can hear her are her fans. Max puts his ear to the wall as he listens intently, he's taken aback. When she starts to sign off and say her goodbyes to her fans, he flops onto his bed and buries his head in his pillow, wondering what he's been doing wrong. She signs off: "Remember boys, we're only six days away from the big day. I love you too!", blowing a kiss. She covers up her camera with a blanket to return to privacy. In his room, Max paces around, trying to muster the courage to go visit Chanel. He opens her door without knocking, and his stepsister reacts, flustered and annoyed, she thought it was her mom or his dad. Max scoffs at her. He tells her that she is so loud it's a wonder that the whole neighborhood doesn't hear what she's up to. Chanel bites her lip considering his advice. Was she being too loud? Did he hear her confession? Max knows what she's up to and is worried about her. What in the world is she doing talking to strangers anyway? Chanel confides in him, it's purely fun, and also a nice little income stream for her. She thinks about her predicament. She would much rather create an illusion that she is with a fan. Could Max be that fan? She looks Max in the eyes. Is he into her? What if she drops a little hint to see if he wants her?
