Clare (Laney Grey) voices over as narration her thoughts while Michael (Nick Jacobs) is driving: ("That's my soon to be stepdad, Michael. My God, isn't he the most handsome man you have ever seen? My girlfriends think I'm crazy to have a thing for older guys, but he's super cool. We have a ton in common -even like the same music"), as she taps her leg to the rock playing on the car radio. The car arrives at the motel, and he declares: "Well, that was one hell of a ride, kid". ("I hate it when he calls me kid. I'm almost 19 years old, for Christ's sake. Oh no, please don't get annoyed"), she voices over. "Hey, you're not too tired, are you? Come, let's check out the room your boss bought", she suggests. "Okay, we can do that", he responds. She kisses him, and they get out. "Oh, let me help you with that", he offers, as Clare leans over to fetch her suitcase from the trunk, her rump sticking up in the air invitingly. "Thanks", she says. "Oh, it's heavy", he remarks, pulling it out of the trunk. "Thanks, daddy", she says. They arrive at their room, and she says: "Oh, a king size bed", bouncing up and down on it. "I emailed my boss for two beds, not a king size bed", Michael complains. "I'll call, sweetheart, and get this sorted out -no worries", he promises. The front desk indicates they don't have any other rooms available, and no cot for them to use. "I can just sleep on the floor", Clare offers. "No, you're not gonna sleep on the floor. I'll sleep on the floor -it's not a big deal", he offers chivalrously. "Your convention's tomorrow night, right?", she asks. "Yeah, it's tomorrow", he replies. "Let's go for a swim at the hotel pool", she suggests. "Uhhh", he fails to answer, as she fishes her swimsuit out of her suitcase and begins to change. "Sweetheart, what are you doing?", he asks, alarmed. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm so used to changing in front of my last daddy", she admits. "Wait, what do you mean -your last daddy?", Michael asks. "Oh yeah, we were super close. We even slept in the same bed when mommy was away. He even called me his cuddlebug", she recalls. "Cuddlebug? Wait, you mean your mommy was married before -she never mentioned anything like that", he says. "Oops!", she laughs nervously, adding: "I forgot that was supposed to be a secret". 'The cat's kinda out of the bag now. You have to tell me about it", he insists. "Well...", she begins, laying face down across his lap on the bed, "he was just awfully mean. I never knew really what to expect. He'd spank me whether I was good or bad", she notes. "Spank you?", Michael asks. "Well yeah, it taught me to be more of an obedient girl. You know I'd do anything he'd want, anything he'd say", she smiles. "Well, I would never spank you, so...", he begins, staring at her rump. Clare gets up and kisses him, confiding: "Never say never". She leaves the room, to change into her bathing suit. "Sweetheart, I need to call your mom", he announces, and she returns, saying "Well, no you can't. She's up north with granny and there's no call service up there", she claims. "Oh really. Okay, tell me more about this ex-husband", he demands. "You mean daddy? Or daddy number 2, number 3, or number 4?", she asks, counting on her fingers. "Four? Four ex-husbands, really?", he asks incredulously. "Yeah, and you -you're daddy number 5", she says, kissing him on the lips. "And I promise, you are the most handsome of all the daddies", she asserts. "Sweetheart, we can't be doing this -it's wrong", he claims. "Did I do something wrong?", she asks. "No, it's just I took you on this trip to get to know you -there's still a lot I don't know about you, and clearly not a lot I know about your mom. Look, I want to be a positive influence in your life, and I want us to respect each other, and have a normal relationship", he says.. "Please daddy, don't deprive me of kissing you -it makes me feel love", she pleads. "You know what? I feel a little tired. I'm just going to take a little nap", Michael announces. "Okay", she gets up and leaves, returning in her bathing suit. "Forgive me daddy", she says. "It's okay. I'm not mad", he replies. "Daddy?", she calls out and goes to check if he's fallen asleep already. Moving her face close to his, she whispers: "Have a good nap, daddy", and leaves. Later, returning from her swim she's greeted by him: "Hey sweetheart, did you have fun at the pool?". He's on the bed, eating from a carton of Chinese food. "Yeah, I did. I met a guy down there", she states. "You met a guy? Really? A guy your age?", Michael asks. "No daddy. Guys my age never want to talk to me. He was your age", she replies, adding: "He thinks I have potential to be a model". "You know you really shouldn't talk to strangers, especially in a strange city", dad reprimands. "Are you jealous?", she asks. "I'm concerned", he counters. "Come on daddy, there's no need to be jealous. I told him all about you", she claims. "Are you hungry? I have some fried rice", he offers. "No, I'm good. Thanks th
